Indication :

  • Gastric & Duodenal ulcer
  • Chronic gastritis
  • Gastro-esophageal reflux

Oxetacaine

  • By anesthetising gastric mucosa it prevents release of gastrin – can reduce volume and acidity of gastric juice

Sucralfate

  • Sucralfate is a complex of aluminium hydroxide and sulfated sucrose
  • Combines with gastric acid to form protective coating on ulcer surface inhibiting gastric acid secretion, pepsin & bile salts
